melb.II

:) I'm at sunny Sunshine coast now! (smth like goldcoast, minus the surfs). Kind of a last minute plan, so exciting! will be back in Brisbane tomorrow. Ah.. tomorrow tomorrow. results coming out tomorrow. Maybe everything will change at 12mn. Better have more fun by then! :)





Internet is pretty stupid and crazy back in Brisbane, have time now, so shall continue my Melb. adventures. :)





So on the last day in Melbourne, I went to the Werribee Open Range Zoo! :) Open range meaning they are free to roam (to a certain extent, but a very large extent), no hand-feeding, and they are not trained to do tricks etc. Savannah kind la, and it was all so new and interesting, fun, whatever.

Oh ya, and the bus broke down halfway. But ai ya, nvm. =/

Opps. I think it's Ostrich, not Emu actually. I remember hearing them saying that they are laying eggs soon, and it's humongous.

They are actually yellow and black, not white.

This one broke off one of his 'horns' during a fight, and because he looks different now and he's handicapped, the rest ostracize him. Reality's a bitch.

Went to the city again after that, busk in it. It's quite a nice feeling actually, I wouldn't mind walking those streets, shopping and eating alone, hehe :)

So that's all. Was very tired from the traveling. But it was all worth it I guess! I miss my sister, I miss being immersed in adult, mature, sensible, people in my life who don't need me to take care of them. Old doesn't mean maturity, and being young doesn't mean you don't have to know.



Maybe I am, indeed, still a brat.





OK! Going to visit Underwater World later and the Australia Zoo tomorrow! :)) For once in a very long time, I think I'm actually happy now. Contented, at least :)
