I'll start by saying, I have very little respect for doctors in general.
Yes, I grew up with the same ideals, that the key to happiness is by being successful, and everything will fall into place.
What do I want to be when I grow up?
"I want to be a doctor." I find myself answer one day.
And I didn't even know why.
Over the years as I grew up, my respect of doctors just slowly diminished.
They are arrogant.
They are insincere.
They are materialistic.
They cheat and lie and sleep around.
(maybe this is a social norm now??)
Just so full of themselves, they think they're god!
The video is saying exactly what it is now of doctors. He is a good example, or what he was a year ago, of what doctors are like.
I don't think the video was tryna improve his image or anything. He was an ass, probably. But he's a changed man, and I respect him for his honesty and how he wants to change the society and system in Singapore with what little time and power he has left. But will doctors learn from this video? Yes, probably for about 5minutes. A day, a week, a month, or maybe a year.
But no, they will be selfish eventually.
There is no hope for this career.
I have no respect for doctors, no matter how rich and famous they are.
I am sure there are good ones that do, but they never made it to the news.
Respect is not a right, but has to be earned.
And honestly, I never want to have a doctor-friend.
Yes doctors have a power.
Of having medical knowledge and skills.
But they lack a lot more.
And that's just how it is.
Everyone lack something.
Maybe the question is why are we always so unfulfilled?
And not how do we fill the holes in our hearts and desires.
no pun intended.
We are dying slowly with each day.
Yet as we are dying, we are also living.
But are we really LIVING?
Okay I still do want to be a doctor.. but not the kind that gets involved with drugs or surgeries.

check this out man.

A research team led by professor Masayuki Sumida at Hiroshima University’s Institute for Amphibian Biology has created a type of transparent frog whose internal organs are visible through its skin. The researchers say the see-through frogs can help in the study of diseases and in the development of medical treatments by allowing laboratory scientists to check the status of internal organs and blood vessels while the frogs are alive and without having to dissect them.
According to Sumida, the transparent frog is the result of breeding two specimens of Japanese brown frog (Rana japonica) that had a genetic mutation giving them pale skin. By selectively breeding their offspring, the researchers were able to create a frog that remains transparent for its entire life cycle. Most of the world’s known transparent creatures live underwater, and transparent four-legged animals are extremely rare.
The researchers also say that by fusing the genes of fluorescent proteins to the frog’s genes, they can create frogs that glow. Glowing frogs can help scientists study specific “problem” genes by providing a real-time visual indication (i.e. the frogs glow) when those genes become active.
Professor Sumida says, “Transparent frogs will prove useful as laboratory animals because they make it easier and cheaper to observe the development and progress of cancer, the growth and aging of internal organs, and the effects of chemicals on organs.”
Transparent frogs!
Oh my.

antique. really antique.
LONDON (AFP) - - A bottle of champagne thought to have been taken from Adolf Hitler's wine cellar was sold at auction in Britain on Friday. The bottle of 1937 Moet et Chandon was bought by an anonymous Swedish bidder for 1,688 pounds (3,359 dollars, 2,487 euros) at Charterhouse auctioneers in Sherbourne, south-west England.
It is believed to have been in Hitler's personal stock and grabbed by a British soldier in Germany as Hitler's Nazi regime collapsed at the end of World War II.
The bottle was given to solicitor Nigel Wilson, 62, to thank him for some legal work.
"He had it given to him by a soldier who, as far as we can work out, retrieved it from the ruins of the Reich Chancellery in Berlin after the Nazis were defeated in May 1945," said Charterhouse valuer Chris Copson.
"They made their way in to the Chancellery, the Russians had been there first, there was a lot of looting and the soldier and members of his unit took themselves a little souvenir of the event."
He added: "There was a rumour that some of the bottles of champagne had been poisoned by injecting through the cork which might be why the soldier never actually drank it.
"Champagne doesn't particularly age well anyway, but in light of that information I would say it's extremely unlikely that anyone would want to drink it."

I stumbled upon this really interesting news online at Yahoo. Little stuffs like this interests me somehow. I'm a dinosaur, remember? Heh heh.
Thinking if I should switch to Multiply to blog. Then I can lock up some posts that are meant just for myself. But not everyone has a multiply account. And I can only limit to Everyone, My network, My Contacts or Individual.
I prefer My Contacts. But, me no contacts, hahha.
wondering, just wonderiing if i should switch.
SO tempting.
