So, I went for a foot massage with Jer at Gekpoh. It was my first time! I've always wanted to try, but was too hum ji you know. So having free time is also good cos it makes me do things that are just not planned! How exciting.
Foot Massage
So, foot massage. Not a very fun experience. They were mostly M'sians and for $14, for 30 mins, I was expecting a lot of pain and screaming. But no leh, wasn't as painful as I thought. So either the guy is apparently not very good/experienced, or I'm healthy and foot massage has not effect on me! Which is quite unlikely. Must have something wrong one right?
Jer was saying the one at Chinatown is VERY good, so.. maybe I would try it when she goes for her next visit, and if I happen to be free that day.
Permed
Yes I did it. After contemplating for the past 5 years, I finally permed my hair! Went to perm+hightlight my hair after the foot massage, and that took another 2-3 hours.
A very shocking (and more exciting) experience cos the hair is so curly now! But it wasn't exactly the kind of curls that I want, but then again it was also pretty in a different way.
Secondly, the highlight was so OMGish. It was like 18 all over again, except it's a bit of a split personality now since the curls added 5 years to my age and the highlight made me look like i'm still a teenager (just the hair la).
She did promise that the colours will come off, and the curls will straighten eventually. Yeah... so if it's nice, it wouldn't last very long too right?
Anyway, I can live with it. Starting to like it after 3 days. hehe :)
Oh! I found out a bad thing about curls is that it traps smell/fumes like MAD! The smell on it after coming of a food court or coffeeshop is damn disgusting! Might need to buy the dry shampoo already. :/
So it was around 3pm by then, time for my sleep and work after that! :)
Talking about new things, I learned a new computer shortcut recently which was so so impressive.
You know how some times shit happens and you don't know what you did/deleted but the "Show desktop" icon on your computer (for older Windows) disappeared and you cannot figure out how to show desktop again other than right-clicking and well, show desktop.
One way, is to just google the problem (of course), download the file and paste it into one of the c drive windows folder.
But the shortcut of showing the desktop is to just press the windows key "
+ D"One of the IT guy was checking our lab computers and I caught him doing it! So he told me which keys to press. hahaha. Must share! Didn't even know the windows button can be a shortcut leh!
;)
