Rexy died.
Well, on Saturday...
Still grieving, but I thought he should have a space here, somewhere. And I should do this (instead of doing my powerpoint for tomorrow's presentation, ha). Afterall, he is a big part of my life.. Bigger than most people I would say.
So anyway, loads of photos to commemorate him. I still have a lot of photos of him when he's young, but I don't have them with me now.. Not alot anyway.
Sigh, this is so sad, but I must do this. So.. here goes his life story.
When we brought them home on 1st May 2006 from Farmart. Well we saw them about 2 weeks before that, but they were only few weeks old, and the owner of the store told us they have to be with their mother for 2 more weeks, so we only brought them home 1 month after their birth.
This photo was taken with my swivel sony ericsson phone. Imagine!
Shortly after we brought them home, Cherry died (the brown, female one). They were my first pet, so naturally I was super upset then as well.
This was the cage that we bought together with the piggies. Rexy was the only one remaining, and he outgrew it very quickly. His favourite position then (on top of my folder-organiser-stand thingy). :)
still using the small water bottle. hehe.
Yep, he likes to be top of the world, I realised over the years.. And this is him, showing his beautiful leg. haha. Obviously need to cut his nails...
=))
He got pretty lonely, I even got a hamster for him, but the hamster kept chasing him and he was super terrified of the hamster!
So we got Donut. Well, we just felt that it's better to have things in pair (maybe we have OCD?).
So here's Rexy, in his new house! :)
See what I mean when I say he likes being top-of-the-world?
Rexy (1.5 yrs old) with tiny Donut. It's pretty obvious how we got her the name, Donut, from this picture ey?
Anyway, I remember the first week was super horrible. Or maybe Rexy was just having super good time. But the two were making wayyyy to much noise.
This is him roaming around my room after his showers...
Super long! Muscular actually. Or fatty.
And then Donut got pregnant and gave birth to her first 3 babies in August 2008. I was working my usual late shift that day, and super excited when I heard the news from my whole family!!! Daddy and mommy so lovey!! Look how tired Donut was, and Rexy, the proud and teary dad (hahaha, I imagine).
It was too much to handle, and I finally gave the kids to Nicole who renamed them to Cookies and Cream :)) Super good owner, seriously!
So this is Rexy and the remaining kid at the back, Kelengkia (then), or Norbit as we now call him.
So fast forward two years to 2010, when I am leaving for Brisbane to study and I left them for Jer's and my parents care. These were the last few moment I had with them.
The grandson and Rexy. Well, the grandson died early last year (2010). But I was only informed when I went back in July :/ so I didn't know the exact date..
Rexy's humongous butt! hahaha..
Nah.. the other one is too small..
yep, so this is the last photo that I have of Rexy, at 3 years 10months old, just right before I entered the lift, for the airport.
Fuck, this is so sad! I just saw the video I took of him eating hay, and I'm tearing now. It has been 3 days, omg. And I thought I smelled his presence just now or what, and arghh... everything's just so sad i'm crying. :'(
He's this stupid (i mean it literally, he's dumb dumb) piggy, which I find him so cute and adorable and fun to play with! The one which I want to present to infront of my class, on the best pet ever. And the one that makes me want to tell everyone I know of this super great species of animal/pet/friend. and tell everyone I got the best pet ever.
And even though i sometimes mistreat him (sort-of), don't clean his cage, not brush his hair, don't cut his nails, don't give him his favourite food, fight carrots with him, don't rub his tummy, he still survived and well, stucked with me! I'm not the best owner, and I guess he pretty much didn't have a very good life with me, and I wish he's somewhere up there, happy, eating his carrots and hay and colourful cereals. And I miss him so much, more than ever. It has been 5 wonderful years having you!
1st April 2006 to 9th April 2011
(1st may was his bring-home date)
MISS YOU SO MUCH REXY!
*sobs*
